Sara is a lawyer within our Commercial and Corporate Group.
Sara completed her Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Auckland in 2019 and was admitted as a Solicitor to the High Court of Auckland in 2020 and the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2021.
Prior to joining Matthews Folbigg, Sara worked at commercial law firms in both Australia and New Zealand where she gained experience in mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets (for ASX listed companies) and a diverse range of corporate and commercial matters including:
- purchases and sales of businesses, shares and units and undertaking associated legal due diligence
- corporate governance and ASX Listing Rule compliance
- capital raising for listed / public companies
- drafting shareholder agreements and constituent documents
Sara is passionate about helping small to medium size businesses find their legal and commercial bearings to thrive in the corporate world.
