Our Community

We partner with community based charities that make an impact in our local area – and we can see the difference our contributions make to the people that these organizations assist.  Through the firms Charitable Giving Committee, we review dozens of proposals from our staff to assist local charity projects, and we provide financial and non-financial assistance to a huge range of worthwhile projects and programs.

We have made a long term commitment to partner with the Parramatta Mission.  By way of example, our efforts have enabled emergency accommodation for victims of domestic violence to be comfortably furnished, and for homeless people in our local area to get a wholesome meal.

We have helped organise, and actively participate in and promote, the Salvation Army’s Red Shield Appeal in the Greater West of Sydney. We have also provided financial and administrative support to the Salvation Army.

Our lawyers regularly commit their time and expertise to a number of local community legal centres free of charge.

Our staff have financially supported the Westmead Hospital Children’s Fund for many years.

Our firm was on the legal panel of Western Sydney Area Health Service (until it was disbanded), and is an active member of the Macquarie Legal Centre and the Woman’s Legal Centre.

We provide support and donations to many Western Sydney schools, including Oatlands Public School and Cumberland High School, and to several Rotary and Lions Club projects and events. Phillip Brophy, Senior Commercial Lawyer, is a Past President and current Membership and Public Relations Director of Parramatta City Rotary.

The firm is a platinum member of the Western Sydney Business Connection.

We have a long history of Law Society involvement. A number of our Principals have been Past Presidents of the Parramatta and District Law Society.
